cPanel – Changing theme from rvskin to x3
I have stumbled across a problem with cPanel where I could not find an option to revert back to the x3 skin from rvskin on cPanel. The solution I came across to do this is by putting the following URL in the address bar:
http://domain.com:2082/frontend/rvskin/rvskin/dothemef.html?themename=x3&Submit=Change
Replace domain.com:2082 with your domain and port number to cPanel if not already as 2082.
If the above did not work, I would recommend asking the support team to revert it back for you.
Finding other websites on same web host
It is useful to find out how many websites are there on a specific shared web host, especially if you want to find out who you're with.
First you need to find out the IP address of your shared web hosts. The quickest way is by just pinging your domain.
So if you go to command prompt (AKA terminal on Mac/Linux based machines) and type in:
ping google.co.uk

Google Fighting Back
In the recent weeks, we have seen Google making updates on their search algorithms i.e. to discourage having back links to websites that have useless or no information at all in return. This means, SEO companies will now have to work a lot harder in getting their quality contents up in order for their Google rankings to be anywhere near the top.
We have also seen free sub-domain services including the whole of co.cc, cz.cc and uni.cc being de-indexed from Google searches. So what does all of this mean in terms of the title of this post? The reason why I've put "Google Fighting Back" is the huge and huge numbers of websites that do not have any usefulness in their contents, but instead, you might see spam and back links.
